AURIC is promoted by Maharashtra Industrial Township Ltd. (MITL), a Special Purpose Vehicle between Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), an agency of Government of India and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), and a nodal agency of Government of Maharashtra for industrial development. These two robust pillars have established Maharashtra Industrial Township Ltd. (MITL) to develop and manage the new integrated industrial township as one of the four DMIC nodes in Maharashtra.
