AURIC will be the first of its kind city to have an end-to-end Fibre-to-the-Curb architecture. This fibre optic infrastructure will be the underlying enabler for creating a smarter AURIC. All City and Non-City (telecom) services will leverage the city's fibre optic infrastructure. Through this architecture, an end-to-end Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) architecture will also be realized by the Plotholders. A state-of-the-art concrete encased trench will be utilized for this fibre optic infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability of the network. AURIC also plans to lease out dark fibre to Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) and Plotholders in order to enable advanced and affordable services.
